Privacy Policy
Bhej Location · Last updated 17 September 2026
Bhej Location (“the app”) is a game published by Firoj Khan. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, and who it goes to. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
The short version
The app reads your location only when you finish the game and only to put it in a message you choose to send. Your location is never sent to us, never stored on our servers, and never sold. Your name stays on your phone. Advertising is served by Google AdMob, which collects its own data.
The app also has Trending, where anyone can post a short message. Anything you post there is public and is sent as a notification to everyone who has the app. It is posted anonymously — your name and your location are never attached to it. Everything on Trending is deleted every Monday.
Puneet Alarm plays a clip twice a day at times you choose. It is scheduled entirely on your phone, uses no microphone and no internet, and can be switched off at any time.
What the app collects
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Location (GPS coordinates) | To build the Google Maps link in the message you send after completing the game. | Placed on your clipboard and into the app you pick (Instagram or WhatsApp). It is never transmitted to us and never stored by us. |
| The name you type | To greet you and to sign the message. | Stored only in your phone's local app storage. It never leaves the device. |
| Notification token | So the developer can send occasional announcements to everyone using the app. | Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. It is anonymous and is not linked to you. |
| Advertising identifiers | To show ads and limit repeats. | Collected by Google AdMob under its own privacy policy. |
| Messages you post to Trending | To show them to everyone and to send them as a notification. | Stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) and delivered to every install. They are public. Deleted automatically every Monday. |
| An anonymous ID | So one person can set a post on fire only once, so the posting cooldown works, and so an abusive poster can be blocked without us knowing who they are. | Created by Firebase Anonymous Authentication. It is a random string. It is never shown to other users, and it is not linked to your name, email, phone number or location. Uninstalling the app abandons it for good. |
Trending: messages other people can see
Trending is a public board. Anyone with the app can post a short message, and anyone can set a post on fire to push it up the list.
- Everything you post is public. It appears in the app for every user and is sent to them as a push notification. Do not post anything you would not want strangers to read — and never post your address, phone number, or anyone else's personal information.
- Posts are anonymous. Your name is not attached. Your location is not attached. Nothing about you is shown next to a post, to anyone.
- Everything is deleted every Monday. The whole board is wiped at 00:00 IST each Monday. Posts are not archived and cannot be recovered afterwards — not by you and not by us.
- You cannot edit or delete a single post yourself. Once a message has been pushed to every phone it cannot be recalled. Use the report button if something needs to come down sooner, or contact us.
Moderation and reporting
Every post carries a report flag. We take user-generated content seriously and moderate it in three ways:
- Posts containing abusive language are blocked automatically on the server and never reach anyone's phone.
- A post reported by three different people is removed automatically.
- A post can be removed by the developer at any time. Anyone who repeatedly posts abusive content can be blocked from posting.
To report content or a user outside the app, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. Reports are acted on within 48 hours.
Maut Ka Khel: the high score
Maut Ka Khel shows the highest score anybody has ever reached, and the name of whoever reached it. This is the one place in the app where your name is shared.
- Your name is only sent if you take the record. Beat the highest score and your name and that score are saved and shown to every other player. Play without beating it and nothing about you is sent at all.
- It is the name you typed when you first opened the app. You can change it any time by tapping your picture on the home screen. A name already on the board stays as it is until somebody beats the score.
- Nothing else goes with it. Not your location, not your device, not any way of contacting you — only the name and the number.
- If you would rather not appear there, use a nickname. The app never checks that the name is really yours.
What the app does not do
- It does not track your location in the background. Location is read once, at the moment you complete the game, and only if you granted permission.
- It does not upload your location, your contacts, your photos or your files to any server we control. This includes Trending — a post never carries your location or your name.
- It does not upload your name, with one exception: taking the high score in Maut Ka Khel. See Maut Ka Khel: the high score below.
- It does not require an account, and it does not ask for your email or phone number. The anonymous ID used by Trending is generated by the app; you never sign up for it and it identifies nothing about you.
- It does not show other users who wrote a post, and it gives us no way to tell either.
- It never listens to you. The app does not use the microphone at all any more, and no longer asks for permission to. It cannot record audio, and there is no code left in it that could.
- It does not sell your data to anyone.
Permissions the app asks for
| Permission | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Location (precise/approximate) | Read once after you finish the game, to create the map link you send. Decline it and the rest of the app still works. |
| Notifications | Puneet Alarm, a welcome message, announcements from the developer, and messages other users post to Trending. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings — the rest of the app still works. |
| Internet | Loading ads, receiving announcements, and reading and posting to Trending. |
Puneet Alarm
Puneet Alarm plays a short clip twice a day — once at night and once in the morning — at times you can change. It is the quietest feature in the app as far as your data is concerned:
- Nothing is sent anywhere. The alarm is scheduled by your own phone and the sound is a file inside the app. No server is involved, and it works with no internet connection at all.
- Only the times are stored, and only on your phone. Whether each alarm is on and what time you set it to are saved on the device. We never receive them.
- It uses no microphone. It only plays sound; it cannot listen.
- You can switch it off. Both alarms have their own switch inside the app, and turning off notifications for the app stops them entirely.
Advertising
The app shows advertising through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. This is governed by Google's own privacy terms. You can reset or remove your advertising ID in your device settings: on Android, under Settings → Google → Ads.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and it will be removed.
Your choices
- Revoke location access at any time in your device settings. The game still plays; only the send step stops working.
- Turn off notifications at any time in your device settings. You will stop receiving Trending posts and announcements; nothing else changes.
- Do not post to Trending if you would rather write nothing publicly. Reading it requires nothing from you, and the app is fully playable without ever opening it.
- Report a post using the flag on any message that should not be there.
- Have a post removed by contacting us with roughly when it was posted and what it said. Everything is deleted every Monday in any case.
- Delete everything by uninstalling the app. The name you typed is stored only on your phone, so uninstalling removes it completely, and the anonymous ID is abandoned with it. Anything already posted to Trending stays public until the next Monday wipe, because it has already been delivered to other people's phones.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
